Pitch Black is a new sensory experience, but with one big twist! It's in complete darkness!

Pitch Black came to fame after the successful launch of their pop in Shoreditch late last year.  Now they're back again! In one of London's best locations, Covent Garden. Pitch Black is located at No Such Place (No we're not kidding, that's really the name of the venue) and is on Neal Street, just a few steps away from the famous Seven Dials, one of the trendiest restaurant, theater and shopping destinations of the Capital city.

Enjoy a warm welcome reception on arrival before entering the unknown. In keeping with the same principals as before, the project boldly aims to shift the focus solely on the facets of flavour, aroma and mouthfeel as opposed to presentation. Dismiss any fears you have about being cast into a disorienting dark den, as guests will initially enter a gently lit space, be formally introduced to their server and have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their surroundings before the lights go down. At lights out, staff and patrons are invited to remain communicative, discussing the festival of herbaceous, sweet, savory and floral treats set before them.

The session lasts for 90 minutes, but don't worry, there is a short interval. During which time, guests are presented with a palate cleanser to refresh the taste buds.

Pitch Black is a completely interactive experience.   Expect some witty banter, and a pleasant surprise once the answers are revealed to you at the end of the session.

Entry to 'Pitch Black' is strictly on a bookings only basis, where tickets may be purchased via the website. Allocated time slots of 90 minutes are available for what is a fully experimental experience.  A multi-sensory adventure unlike any other, it’s the perfect outing for big groups of friends, or couples.

With great shopping, restaurants, theaters and bars in the area, why not make a day of it. Tickets are available for £45 and are expected to go quickly. Make your booking today.

Pitch Black - Event Review

Pitch Black - Event Review

Heading to this tasting, I wasn't quite sure how to feel. After all, the thought of a sitting in a dark room with strangers and tasting mysterious drinks you didn't order is a scenario we've all actively striven to avoid. But proving there's nothing...

Such a great night - would highly recommend it and would go again! Venue was great and Dom was such a fab host. So much fun and something really different to do for a night out. Cheersthemetune visited No Such Place on 07 Feb 2017

Brilliant date night for something relaxed but a bit different. Dom is charming and a great host. It's really interesting how hard it is to guess the drinks you're trying. Nice venue too. At first blush looks expensive, but when you think what drinks cost normally in a bar, this is actually good value (you get at least 5). Sophie visited No Such Place on 14 Feb 2017

The space was not 100% pitch dark, but thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It is a great activity for an unusual date, or fun evening with friends! The host was really friendly and helped create a truly memorable evening AHenry visited No Such Place on 01 Dec 2016

A very different but really enjoyable experience. Went with my girlfriend and got a little bit drunk but the host and the other people who purchased the experience were very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely recommend this to everyone. Great night👍🏾👍🏾 Lawrence visited No Such Place on 16 Dec 2016

Original event. Great way of discovering known and unknown cocktail flavours. The host is friendly and welcoming. The red wine happened to be corked, and in substitution we were served another prosecco, which was nice of him. We would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of flavours and smells, and why people may confound one drink with another. Guillermo visited No Such Place on 03 Dec 2016

A fun night out! Some thing different to try with friends or as a date. Only criticism would be that the amuse bouche was not worth having but drinks are great :) Sonia visited No Such Place on 01 Dec 2016

Nice and dark, sufficient amounts of drink confusion and excellent hosts. Two of the guests were so smashed they succeeded in knocking over the drinks before lights out but they thankfully baled before the session properly started. Would have liked even more sensory deprivation (no music). Recommended for the challenge to the tastebuds and a change to the norm. Howard visited No Such Place on 12 Nov 2016

Great host and delicious cocktails but could be improved in a different venue - music from the adjoining bar was quite loud and there was a bit of light drifting in from the kitchen so wasn't the full sensory experience we were expecting leahbeckley visited No Such Place on 29 Nov 2016

Positives: Good fun, nice hosts, interesting experience and great concept Negatives: Event started half an hour late, time between drinks was a little too long (four drinks in 2.5 hours) and at £48 a go it felt a little pricey Matt visited No Such Place on 23 Nov 2016

Really good evening. Dom was really interesting and funny. The venue is quirky, and I would return. I would definitely recommend this as an evening of drinks with a difference Brendaduffy visited No Such Place on 04 Nov 2016

A great test of your senses and a wonderful way to get you to think about your drink. The showmanship of our host was engaging informative and entertaining, bringing the group of strangers together for a fun filled taste adventure Charlie visited No Such Place on 08 Nov 2016

An interesting experience. A little too warm in the room. Lovely cocktails & canapes. Megan visited No Such Place on 10 Nov 2016

While it was dark, it probably should also have been silent. There wasn't a real sense of sensory deprivation at all - just drinks in the dark. It was fun enough - something to do, but it really wasn't a sensation. And for the price, it wasn't an amazing night. Peter visited No Such Place on 12 Nov 2016
